How it works
The base estimate is room volume × 300 BTU/h, an empirical rule included in Saudi TVTC training material. We then apply modest, non-official adjustments for climate, sun, insulation, glazing and room use. For engineering design, use a professional load calculation.
What to compare after sizing
Compare units of the right capacity using their Saudi energy-efficiency label, including annual energy consumption and seasonal efficiency. SASO's Ta’akad service can verify label information.
